Scott Richardson
Scott grew up in Covina, CA, and attended Ruddock Elementary School, Ruddock Jr. High School and Royal Oak High School. His college degrees are from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona/Cal Poly Pomona (BS in Communication Arts/Public Relations) and from California State University San Bernardino/Cal State San Bernardino (MA in Marketing Communications).
Scott’s hobbies are ham radio/amateur radio (call sign AA6U), antique radio repair and restoration, tube tester refurbishing and calibration, genealogy and barbecuing (the real kind). When he has time, he also enjoys reading, camping, fishing, hiking, oil painting, cartooning and travel.
Genealogy is one of Scott’s lifelong interests. He has consulted thousands of sources of information from around the world, exchanged data with hundreds of people and taught genealogy classes at the community college level. The genealogical database here is the current compilation of his work in progress, which continues to evolve as time allows and as new, reliable information is uncovered.
Karen Richardson
Karen was born in Philadelphia, PA, and enjoys photo album scrapbooking and quilting. Karen, whose maiden name was Karen Easter, attended Faith Christian School in Roslyn, PA; graduated from Cedarbrook Jr. High; attended Cheltenham High School in Cheltenham, PA; and graduated in from Glendora High School in Glendora, CA, and from Citrus College where she received an AA in Accounting. In addition, she earned her AA in Medical Assisting at Everett Community College in Everett, WA; her AA in Nursing at Riverside City College in Riverside, CA, and her BSN from the Chamberlain College of Nursing.
She is a registered nurse at the urgent care at St. Bernadine’s Hospital in Fontana, CA. She is also a ham radio operator with the call KE6JPS.
Her hobbies are quilting, reading and travel.
